38% of US Economists Say <br />a Recession Will Happen Next Year.<br />The news comes from a recent survey by the National Association <br />for Business Economics.<br />The 38% is a small drop from a previous survey earlier this year in which 42% of economists believed a recession would happen in 2020.<br />The most recent poll took place <br />from July 14 to August 1 and <br />involved over 225 participants.<br />It happened before a series of events involving America's ongoing <br />trade battle with China.<br />They include the White House accusing the Chinese government of being a "currency manipulator.".<br />According to the latest survey, only 5% of economists believe the U.S. and China will reach a <br />comprehensive deal in the future.<br />Despite the trade conflict, the United States' economy has remained resilient thus far, with the <br />unemployment rate still very low at 3.7%
